Nasana Bajracharya (Informatics ‘19) is interning with a Boston startup named Piccles this summer.
INTERN SPOTLIGHT: "In April I attended the Startup Recruiting Night organized by CICS Careers in hopes of landing an internship. And luckily I did! This summer, I am officially the Piccles product design intern! Piccles is a collaborative drawing platform that relieves boredom, reduces anxiety and fosters human connection. It was founded by Chris Bent (UMass alumnus ’12) as his way of contributing to art without being an artist.
As an intern, I am building my UI/UX skills while learning about marketing and public speaking. I have been actively redesigning the web app and attending workshops and networking events to advertise Piccles. Working with Chris has been a wonderful experience and I have learned so much these past couple weeks! My biggest tip for other students looking to gain experience is to network. Networking can get you places and you never know who you might run into unless you try!"
